About the programme
The Ho Chi Minh City Business Mission 2026 is hosted by the City of Osaka and operated by IBPC Osaka. It offers Vietnam-based companies opportunities to meet the Osaka delegation, discuss business needs and explore cooperation. Viet Japan Partner, the owner of the VJP Connect platform, supports event publicity and the search for suitable companies at the organizers’ request.
The meetings cover manufacturing and metalworking, electrical panel components, mechanical design, energy efficiency, automation, trade and logistics. Meetings will be arranged according to the fit between each applicant’s interests and those of the delegation companies.

Business meetings at Rex Hotel Saigon, jointly organized by the City of Osaka and Osaka International Business Promotion Center, with support from ITPC and VCCI. 15 Osaka companies and 67 Vietnam-side companies held 127 business meetings, with a dedicated interpreter at each table.

The Vietnam Manufacturing Products Business Meeting took place at Osaka Sangyo Sozokan. Hosted by the City of Osaka and delivered through the BPC consortium, including IBPC Osaka, it recorded 35 Japanese companies, 25 Vietnamese companies and 101 business meetings.

Discussions may cover company introductions, products/services, cooperation interests, technical requirements, supply, distribution, project implementation or relevant market information. Both parties may agree on contact points and follow-up topics.
Additional meetings depend on actual availability at the venue. A business card exchange is not a full business meeting.
Six companies and their matching interests
Business activities: Electrical panel components and accessories, including salt-damage protection filters, ventilation products, insulating supports and panel heaters.
Matching interests: Panel manufacturers/assemblers, electrical equipment importers and distributors, and system integrators interested in using or distributing relevant products.
Please note: Discussions focus on purchasing, distribution and product applications.
Business activities: Consulting and business connections through a network in Japan and Southeast Asia, with particular strengths in Myanmar.
Matching interests: Companies with products they would like to sell in Japan, and companies considering imports or purchases of agricultural products and other primary commodities from Myanmar.
Please note: The visit focuses on information gathering and market research; it does not constitute a purchasing commitment.
Business activities: Metalworking and components, with capabilities spanning design and manufacturing, including applications related to housing equipment.
Matching interests: Manufacturers, metalworking and tooling companies, component makers, material suppliers and complementary production service providers interested in exploring cooperation.
Please note: The transaction scope and buyer/seller or supplier roles need to be clarified for each applicant.
Business activities: An industrial machinery manufacturer exploring a design operation in Vietnam to support drawing preparation for Japan.
Matching interests: Mechanical design/CAD providers, engineering recruiters and business establishment/operations advisers for information exchange.
Please note: The current focus is gathering information about a design operation; no specific transactional business matching request has been stated.
Business activities: Energy-saving and energy-generation solutions, automation and building engineering, with an emphasis on measurement and trials.
Matching interests: Energy companies, HVAC/M&E contractors, factory automation providers, construction subcontractors and window/glazing businesses for joint customer development and implementation.
Please note: Discussions may cover technology integration and pilot applications at suitable projects.
Business activities: Logistics services in Vietnam, including sea freight, domestic transport and customs clearance.
Matching interests: Sea, air and domestic transport providers, freight forwarders, customs service companies, and businesses with import/export needs.
Please note: A Vietnam-based company in Japan’s Shinyo group. Cooperation will be discussed around specific routes and services.
