I graduated from Tenri University, Faculty of Foreign Languages, Department of Russian in 1979.

Since 1994, I have been working as a freelance interpreter and translator based in Nara. Through supporting international business communication, I have cultivated a clear and culturally sensitive approach to expression.

In 1999, I established KHN Associates to offer specialized translation services for global companies operating in Japan. I have since handled a wide range of content including press releases, sustainability reports, and corporate communications. My work emphasizes natural, communicative Japanese and offers an alternative to literal or machine-generated translation. Under the concept of “Trans Concierge,” I also provide flexible support and language coordination tailored to client needs.
