Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) was established on September 24, 2007 under Decision No. 1272/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister. UEF pursues the goal of becoming the leading university in Vietnam and aims for international training standards associated with the philosophy of Comprehensive Education - Lifelong Learning .

With a consistent goal, UEF aims at university education standards that combine the quintessence of international university education with economic transformation in the context of integration, providing in-depth training in Economics and Finance to meet the increasing demand for high-quality human resources of society.

In addition, UEF is implementing a project in the South Saigon area with an area of 5.5 hectares with the strategy of building the most modern complex campus in Ho Chi Minh City. This is the next step of development of the school in the new phase.

Determining a strategic direction combined with the achievements UEF has achieved over the past 15 years has partly helped the school's training brand stand firm in the high-end human resource training segment in Vietnam, bringing absolute trust to candidates and parents nationwide.
