The Japan Asia Medical Welfare Education Institute (JAMWEI) is a nonprofit organization established to promote the development of healthcare, welfare, and education adapted to the realities of Asia. JAMWEI engages in community-based research, consulting, and human resource training, continually challenging conventional practices. It fosters healthcare professionals from Asian countries, supports their training and work experience in Japan, and helps them apply Japanese models and technology upon returning home. With the motto “early cancer detection, preventing immobility, and living actively to 100,” JAMWEI is committed to lifelong health. Its initiatives are carried out in close collaboration with local governments, medical institutions, civil organizations, and residents.
